Be part of the "ultra e-motion" during the "Coppa Italia Final"  with X10+ and the SprintCam Vvs HD by Cinevideo

Cinevideo, a major rental house and broadcast service provider in Italy, has been using the SprintCam ultra slow motion technology since the summer 2012, to cover, among other prestigious events, the most important matches in the Italian Serie A. They have been able to differentiate their productions by conveying a totally new emotional insight into the action, which led them to call their service Ultra E-Motion.

On the 26th of May, 2013, they seized the opportunity to demonstrate – for the first time in Italy - the capabilities of the new X10+ ultra motion camera during the 2013 Coppa Italia Final in Rome.

Cinevideo was one of the key broadcast services provider, working for the Infront company, in charge of the production of the Italian as well as international feed. The Game was broadcasted by RAI TV Channel.

For the duration of the event, they benefited from the support of the local partner of I-MOVIX: ARET Engineering, offering turnkey video and audio integrated systems for broadcast, satellite, (post)production, and mobile television, and of the General Manager of EVS Italy, Costantino Gelameris.

"Today, we used two high-speed cameras: one X10+ and one SprintCam Vvs HD. With the Vvs HD, we were able to work at 500 frames per second; while with the X10+, we did capture at 250 frames per second continuously. We had plenty of very exciting shots during the match! We are very proud to use these systems for our Games!",
Andrea Buonomo, CTO at Cinevideo.

Two cameras were used to cover the ultra slow motion production: one SprintCam Vvs HD and one X10+. While the SprintCam Vvs HD was dedicated to capture extreme slow motion shots at 500 frames per second, the X10+ camera, the main camera on the reverse angle, provided 10 times super slow motion shots of extraordinary quality. X10+ has been used both in live and for ultra motion coverage, thanks to its capability to be used in a continuous mode, and its unique features such as the automatic calibration, allowing a perfect and automatic matching with any other camera of the production.

According to the production team, the ultra motion coverage of the top cup competition in Italian Football has been as great success. A promising future for the coming major sports events !
