INFINITE


INFINITE is a radically different new ultra-slow motion camera system that combines extreme scalability with trigger-less operation, and is the first to provide continuous on-board loop recording of more than an hour of high frame rate in HD and frame-accurate ramping of speed without compensation and interpolation.

Based on Vision Research’s Phantom® Flex4K camera and the I-MOVIX X10 platform, INFINITE can be operated in a range of modes to meet the most challenging production constraints, either technical or financial. INFINITE helps streamline production logistics when used either in standalone mode without a server, or in conjunction with a server, where it only requires a single channel, saving cost and space in the mobile truck. The trigger-less workflow empowers production teams to review and save ample content for the live show, for post-game analysis and for marketing – all of which dramatically reduces the per-minute cost of this unique technology. 

INFINITE also has the capability to be used for remote/IP operation, and in wireless configuration. The remote production capability also has potential applications in sports refereeing, allowing the same referee to provide ultra-slow motion adjudication of several sport events at the same time, from a unique location.

X10 UHD


X10 UHD is the industry's first ultra-slow motion system to support both continuous Super Slow Motion (SSM) and Ultra Slow Motion (USM) either in HD or 4K.

Combining the core X10 ultra-motion technology with Vision Research's Phantom Flex4K camera, X10 UHD supports operation in a range of modes to meet differing production requirements, and can be instantly re-configured for new HD or 4K shooting scenarios.

Indeed, X10 UHD operates in an Ultra Slow Motion mode (USM or high-frame rate mode) or in a Super Slow Motion mode (SSM or continuous super slow motion mode) in HD or 4K depending on the production requirements.

When operating in HD resolutions (1080p or 1080i) X10 UHD offers up to 600 FPS in continuous SSM mode, and up to 2,000 FPS in USM mode.

For very high-frame rate ultra-slow motion in 4K sports coverage, X10 UHD operates in USM mode to deliver instant replays of up to 1,000 FPS. For continuous non-stop recording, SSM mode delivers up to 120 FPS at 4Kp60. 

The system can also complement these specialized applications by performing in a conventional live camera role.

Indeed, X10 UHD RF can be used in wireless mode for sport productions where being close to the action makes the difference. The solution is lightweight, convenient, and as easy to operate as the other systems of the product range.

Last but not least, X10 UHD RF provides all the functionalities and image quality benefits for which the I-MOVIX technology has become renowned. 

X10 UHD RF operates in the Ultra Slow Motion mode (USM) to deliver instant replays of up to 3,000 FPS in 720p or up to 2,000 FPS in 1080i.

The solution is available with different wireless solutions: Vislink Gigawave ClipOn4 /  Vislink Link L1700 / Cobham.

Two different operational modes are possible:

•  Truck control: the camera is completely controlled by the OCP and JOG from the OB van

X10 SSM has the unique capability of delivering up to 10 times normal speed capture in full HD resolution while being used as any standard broadcast camera since it records continuously, on the contrary to X10 USM for example.

The main benefits of the X10 SSM solution are the availability of up to 38 hours of continuous super slow motion on your EVS broadcast server (no internal memory limit and no action ever be missed again), as well as the possibility to provide a ten times real time output for sports where a three times normal speed capture is not sufficient.
