In less than 30 minutes, everybody is able to use SprintCam, it's one strenght of SprintCam, It's easy to use!

For the cameraman :

SprintCam works as any other camera.
The camera is always recording, the cameraman does his job as usual like with any others cameras
For the video engineer:
In the OB van, the video engineer has an OCP remote for our camera for the color settings (whithe & black balance, gamma control), iris control and frame rates control
For the SprintCam Operator (in the Ob van):
He has one remote, the jog-shuttle
When the SprintCam Operator wants to replay and send a SD-SDI / HD-HDI signal to the XT[2] server he has three buttons to press:
1. The SprintCam Operator stops the recording by pressing “STOP”(the camera is always recording except during a replay)2. He goes back in the memory of the camera (16Gb) with the wheel on the jog-shuttle until the required starting point (note that at 1000fps you can see the last 30 seconds)
3. Then when he found the best starting point for the replay, he replays the sequence by pressing “PLAY” on the jog-shuttle
4. At this time, the sequence is recording onto the EVS server and can be replay IMMEDIATELY on LIVE by the EVS operator.
5. He presses “STOP” & “EJECT” when he wants to finish the replay and come back to the recording mode. (note during the replay the camera is not recording)
Whatever the frame rate, this action takes about 2 seconds to start an extreme slow motion replay
The jog-shuttle has of course many others functionalities like speed up the replay or create a mark-in and mark-out point on the sequence.
