Developing a High Speed Camera

It took a long time for I-Movix to develop their high speed camera, as they came across big hurdles by working with huge bit rates, and it took many years with heavy research and development before they had a real product out of it, and were able to work with the cameras for real standard broadcasts.

Tyler Pyburn of The Pulse Network sits down with Laurent Renard, CEO of I-Movix, to discuss the biggest issues they had with all of those huge frame rates, which occurred when you tried to insert long replays into your live work flow, so they try to work on a different standard work flow because they found added value of such high speed systems in being able to get something like a 10x slow motion, without any more breaks into the replay work flow. Renard says that they really focus on live broadcasts, and their products can create live, instant and continuous output for up to 18 hours.
